With this, we get access to RT scheduling cpu bandwidth controlled via cgroups. Alternativly theres av-linux which is pretty rock solid, though i find it harder to install some software form source due to dependancy issues.

It is now a long time ago than jack2 exist and the evolution was big. It's no tutorial, but it is crammed with information.
